Democratic National Committee Betrays Younger Voters With Corruption

Democratic National CommitteeThe worst thing about the corruption exposed within the Democratic National Committee is that many younger voters have been disillusioned. The political process is already considered a turnoff and corrupt for many younger people. After this scandal, can anyone really blame them for being turned off and dissolution?

Many of these younger voters, were people who have never voted before. Because of this scandal within the Democratic National Committee, many of them will probably be further alienated and never bother to vote. Their current attitude will be genuine. For something like this to happen at a time when the Democrats are trying to attract younger people into the system, is a disaster.

As an older person, I can’t say as I really blame them a damn bit for having these feelings. If I were in the position, I would probably be alienated right along with them. Disillusionment with the Democratic Party is something that is not new for me. Over 20 years ago I became so pissed off with the Democratic Party that I left and joined the Green Party; something I have never regretted.

After the revelation by Donna Brazile, in her new book, that corruption within the Democratic National Committee was real, I am thinking very actively of rejoining the Green Party out of disgust and a feeling of betrayal. I rejoined the Democratic Party just so I could vote for Senator Bernie Sanders, someone I strongly feel is capable of being a great president. In my opinion, Senator Bernie Sanders is just what this country needs and deserves.

The Democratic National Committee has shown itself to be shortsighted, not to mention entirely partisan, by accepting Hillary Clinton as their candidate for president of the United States. America could have done better and deserved better. Don’t get me wrong, because I don’t feel that Hillary Clinton is a corrupt person. The reason I don’t support her is that she isn’t the best candidate. Hillary Clinton represents the status quo that I hate more than anything. She has too many ties to Wall Street and big business to make me feel comfortable with her as a candidate. Over the years, she has taken too many campaign contributions from the healthcare industry and big Pharma, both of whom I don’t trust to give the best healthcare system for a deserving populace that badly needs one.

As long as the Democratic Party insists on running a status quo candidate, I refuse to support them. This country needs a true progressive candidate, not another “player within the system” like Hillary or anyone else. We need a true progressive.

If the Democratic Party is incapable of giving us that, then maybe we should continue denying them our support. Perhaps they will change the practice of partisan politics within the party when voters start leaving the Democratic Party. Even though by doing so we run much risk of surrendering to the Right, the risk is worth it. Donald Trump is probably going to ruin the United States and if the Democratic Party doesn’t try to at least save us the indignity of having your country flushed down the toilet by Trump and his minions, then what good are they?

It’s Still Their Party: What the DNC Purge Means for the Democrats’ Left Flank – In These Times

The Democratic Party Screws Itself And the People Who Count On It

At a major party meeting last week, the Democratic Party pushed the liberal wing of the party into a position where they are guaranteed to have very little influence over party policy. In doing so, they screwed themselves and the people who count on the Democrats for representation, not to mention advocacy. They chose to keep up the status quo that probably cost them the 2016 presidential election.

The more liberal wing of the party called the “Sanders wing” were marginalized to a point where they will have very little real influence over Democratic National Committee (DNC) policy. DNC Chair Tom Perez, himself a controversial figure, make sure that the so-called “Sanders wing” and their allies were relegated to minor positions within the party.

This is just the type of party wrangling within the Democratic Party that forced me to leave the party years ago and become a member of the Green party. My move to the Greens is something that I have never regretted because, even though the Green party seldom gets a member elected to a major office, they are a party that I can relate to both in principle and ethics. This last element is very important because I feel that the actions of the DNC are not only unethical but shortsighted.

I rejoined the Democratic Party after nearly 20 years of being a member of the Green party to support Bernie Sanders. Now that the Democratic Party has chosen to shove him to the sidelines, even though he probably would have beaten Donald Trump in last year’s presidential election, they no longer have my support. However, I do hope that they gain significant ground, despite this latest partisan debacle, and the 2018 midterm congressional election.

This latest move by the DNC is a huge mistake and something that will probably alienate many potential supporters, especially supporters of Senator Sanders. By making this latest shortsighted move, the Democratic Party is surrendering huge ground to the GOP and forces of Donald Trump. They just made a huge mistake.

Russian Sabotage In The American Election

Russia was very likely responsible for the hack that has upended the DNC.

Russian Sabotage In The American Election.

The evidence seems to be growing that there has been Russian sabotage in the American election.  Even though the outcry from American politicians, especially those in the DNC (Democratic National Committee), we shouldn’t be surprised that another country would try doing what we have been guilty.  In a weird way, it’s like “political Karma” has come around to haunt us.

What I’m referring to is the American government’s successful attempt to sabotage Australian election of 1975, when the CIA was successful in unseating the prime minister, Gough Whitlam.  The US government felt that Prime Minister Whitlam was a threat to American interests, primarily because he was opposed to the war in Vietnam.  American sabotage of the 1975 election began several years earlier, during the Nixon administration.

In the current case of Russian sabotage in the American election, they have hacked the servers the Democratic National Committee and leaked sensitive emails to the press.  These emails are embarrassing to the DNC, especially candidate Hillary Clinton, as she battles Donald Trump for the presidency. The Russian sabotage is half-day because

The Russian sabotage is being committed, probably with the blessing of Vladimir Putin, because they want Donald Trump to win the election because Trump is more likely to turn a blind eye to Russian aggression.  Trump has said that he will not interfere if the Russians were to attack our European allies, something that is extremely distressing.

Even though the Russian sabotage of our critical election is something that we should not condone, we should not forget that we have also been guilty of the same thing in our sabotage of the Australian election of 1975.  The only difference between the Russians and us is that we were successful in our underhanded efforts and the attempted Russian sabotage has failed to achieve its goal.  Both the Russians and the Americans deserve condemnation for their attempts to stand in the way of real democracy.

Bernie Sanders Not Stumping For Democrats. Who can blame him?

Now the Democratic Party seems to be blaming Bernie Sanders because he is not out stumping for the various Democratic candidates running for office around the country. Can anyone blame him, especially after the way he was treated? As a divorce supporter of Senator Bernie Sanders, I have to say that I don’t blame him one damn bit. Who else would want to jump on the bandwagon of the party that had insulted them or treated them as badly as the Democratic Party has Bernie Sanders? He probably doesn’t want to get involved with a corrupt political machine, which is what the Democratic Party has allowed itself to become.

Hopefully, the Democratic Party will stop acting like a political machine and become a party of the people as they use to. Hopefully, with the resignation of Debbie Wasserman Schultz as chair of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), some of this corruption and machine style politics will end. After the recent leaking of emails by WikiLeaks, it should be very obvious to anyone that the entire Democratic primary process had been rigged from the start, and party leaders had succeeded in getting the candidate the DNC wanted from the very beginning of the process, Hillary Clinton.

If the Democratic Party doesn’t stop pandering to special interests and accepting “dark money,” they will be put in the same category as the GOP; corrupt and pandering to big capital. They run the risk of alienating the rank-and-file workers that they use to represent.

I don’t know whether anyone else noticed or not, but during the entire Democratic convention, Bernie Sanders barely cracked a smile. I could just see the indignation on his face and his disapproval of the whole proceeding. As far as I’m concerned, the entire Democratic national convention was a total farce. It reeked of bad script writing and behind closed doors manipulation. The fix was in, and it had worked. However, Bernie Sanders did the gracious gesture of putting an end to the roll call vote and conceded to Hillary Clinton. Personally, I don’t know whether or not I could’ve been that gracious, especially if I had been treated by the Democratic National Committee like he was.

Even though it should be obvious by now that Hillary Clinton is far more qualified than Donald Trump to be president, the election will be closer than anyone expects. Even though I feel that Bernie Sanders is more qualified than Hillary Clinton to lead this nation, I plan on voting for her, mostly to do my part in keeping Donald Trump out of the White House, which I honestly feel would be nothing less than a total disaster.

Now, the Democratic Party actually has the gall to play some type of blame Bernie Sanders because he hasn’t bent over backwards to work for the party? Like I said to before, can anyone really blame Bernie Sanders for anything?

Nina Turner, One of Top Bernie Sanders Supporters, Slighted at Convention

This entire scenario couldn’t have been written any better if Machiavelli had written it himself, as Nina Turner was “conveniently” excluded from being allowed to speak at the Democratic National Convention (DNC). Of course, I’m sure that because Ms. Turner was one of the most avid supporters of Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton’s campaign had nothing to do with it, right? This points out to me one fact; if Hillary Clinton’s campaign is trying to alienate Bernie Sanders supporters, this is the perfect way to do it.

It seems that heavy-handed tactics used by certain members of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) used against Nina Turner has become the new standard operating procedure of the Democratic Party. It has gotten to the point that some of them are almost behaving as badly as the Republicans.

They should be ashamed of themselves that someone as articulate as Nina Turner was excluded from the agenda. This begs the question “why was Nina Turner left out of the speaking order?” I suppose that she was one of the most outspoken of Bernie Sanders’ supporters had nothing to do with it, right? If you believe that, there is a large bridge here in the Bay Area that I would love to sell you.

This whole incident is just another example of how Bernie Sanders’ many supporters were treated at the convention. If they do something as disrespectful as this to someone as prominent as Nina Turner, one can only imagine how other supporters of Bernie Sanders were treated. I now understand why some Bernie Sanders supporters sat in the convention with tape reading “Silenced” across their mouths. If I would’ve been there I would have joined their protest.

The disrespect shown towards Nina Turner, and other Bernie Sanders supporters is something that the DNC should be ashamed of. I’m sure that many Bernie Sanders delegates and supporters would have really liked to hear what Nina Turner has to say. I know I would!

During Hillary Clinton’s very good acceptance speech, I noticed that every time they aim the camera at Bernie, he just sat there looking sullen and dejected. At some points, Bernie Sanders even looked angry. He only broke a slight smile a couple of times. After the exclusion of one of his supporters like Nina Turner, I doubt if he was really happy. During the entire speech, I only saw him smile twice.

To me, this represents the total lack of respect that the Hillary Clinton campaign gave to the Bernie Sanders campaign during the entire election. If his ideas were really so bad, why did the Democratic Party adopt about 80% of them into their platform?

Bernie Sanders Wins in Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii

Senator Bernie Sanders speaking before a large crowd. At this point, Hillary Clinton had better be looking over her shoulder. If she does, she will see Senator Bernie Sanders breathing down her neck. No one in their right mind would dispute that he is a valid contender for President of the United States.

I was delighted to hear that Bernie Sanders won the caucuses in Washington, Alaska, and Hawaii. He is inching his way towards winning more delegates that Hillary Clinton. If he doesn’t win enough delegates to win the nomination outright, he will at least go into The Democratic National Convention with enough clout to make a difference in the Democratic Party platform. Also, there is always the strong chance that he could persuade enough delegates to come over to his side, therefore winning the nomination.

One of the best things that could happen right now, is for Bernie Sanders to win enough delegates to deny the nomination to Hillary Clinton, therefore causing the convention to be open. That is to say, a convention where delegates from the various states will be forced into the position of having to work out a compromise. Then again, be as persuasive as he can be, Bernie Sanders stands a very good chance of winning over enough delegates to give him the nomination.

Another point to consider is that Hillary Clinton is running and into a lot of problems now, particularly her strong connections to the SuperPACs and Wall Street. That is one thing that has personally always bothered me about Hillary Clinton. How can she say that she will regulate the economy, or stabilized it, if she is, figuratively speaking, in bed with the people who helped to ruin the economy in the first place?

Bernie Sanders Wins Fight with DNC

The The a.m. In a statement, the [Sanders] campaign announced that the DNC “capitulated” and expressed its confidence that it would be able to return to normal by Saturday morning.

The DNC cut off its access to the all-important voter file, without which an effective presidential campaign cannot be run, on Wednesday after it was revealed that Sanders campaign staffers had improperly accessed confidential data belonging to the Clinton campaign. The staffers had been able to do so because of a glitch in the voter file during a routine software update by the vendor, NGP VAN.

The suspension of access to the voter file sparked an immediate uproar. In a Friday media conference, Jeff Weaver, Sanders’ campaign manager, accused the DNC of sabotage while his counterpart on the Clinton campaign, Robbie Mook, openly accused the Sanders campaign of committing theft on a conference call.

The DNC’s chair, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, who was a national co-chair of Clinton’s 2008 campaign, said in a statement: “The Sanders campaign has now complied with the DNC’s request to provide the information that we have requested of them. Based on this information, we are restoring the Sanders campaign’s access to the voter file, but will continue to investigate to ensure that the data that was inappropriately accessed has been deleted and is no longer in possession of the Sanders campaign.”

In contrast, Weaver said: “We are extremely pleased that the DNC has reversed its outrageous decision to take Sen. Sanders’ data. The information we provided tonight is essentially the same information we already sent them by email on Thursday.”

The Sanders operative added: “Clearly, they were very concerned about their prospects in court. Now what we need to restore confidence in the DNC’s ability to secure data is an independent audit that encompasses the DNC’s record this entire campaign.”

Bernie Sanders Wins Fight with DNC

Senator Bernie Sanders, as I knew he would, won his fight with the Democratic National Committee (DNC). The fight was over whether or not Senator Sanders would be allowed to access the DNC national voter database. The DNC claims that a campaign staffer broke the rules and accessed some information on the database that actually belong to Hillary Clinton, his rival in the 2016 Democratic primary.

The DNC caved in as soon as Senator Bernie Sanders filed a lawsuit against them. As damages, in his lawsuit, Bernie Sanders was demanding $600,000 per day. The DNC immediately surrendered, knowing that the lawsuit was one that they could not win. The reason for this was because it was unfounded and based on total bullshit. Not only that, but this lawsuit made the DNC look bad because it pointed out and highlighted their political games. Could it also be that the actions of the DNC reflected badly on their “chosen one” Hillary Clinton. This just raises more suspicions on the Clinton campaign that they are getting scared of Bernie Sanders, and are willing to play political dirty tricks in order to win.

As it turns out, the company that maintains this database, NGP VAN admits that a software glitch may have caused the data in question to be accidentally released. In other words, this entire incident, in all likelihood, may not have even been the fault of a campaign staffer working on Bernie Sanders campaign.

Is also worth noting that a vice president of the company, NGP VAN just happens to be Aaron Wasserman, the brother of Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, the Chair of the Democratic National Committee. Anybody smell a rat here besides me? After all, it’s a well-known fact that Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz is one of Hillary Clinton’s biggest supporters.

Bernie Sanders is having an effect on Hillary Clinton’s campaign
