Donald Trump May Be Open to Obstruction of Justice Charge

It looks as though one of Donald Trump’s infamous tweets may have finally gotten him into real hot water. On Meet the Press, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) said that Donald Trump may have left himself open to a charge of obstruction of justice, based on a tweet he made on Friday. Sen. Feinstein is the chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee and a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, which is investigating Donald Trump for possible collusion with the Russians for the 2016 presidential election. Many people, including myself, think that Donald Trump is as guilty as sin of colluding with the Russians to help you win the 2016 presidential election.

Obstruction of justice, especially in this case involving a president of the United States, is a very serious charge. Donald Trump should be just as much open to a charge as your average citizen. Even though he may think so, Donald Trump is not above the law. No one is!

Here is the text of the infamous tweet that may well lead to the undoing of Donald Trump:

I had to fire General Flynn because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI. He has pled guilty to those lies. It is a shame because his actions during the transition were lawful. There was nothing to hide!

This begs the question if Donald Trump knew that Michael Flynn had lied wouldn’t his attempts to shut down the investigation by the FBI constitute obstruction of justice? To me, the answer is a very simple “yes”. Donald Trump is guilty of obstruction of justice and should be charged just like your average citizen. His office should not make him exempt from anything.

I am very glad to see that the house of cards that Donald Trump lives in is starting to collapse. It is very satisfying to see this racist/sexist getting closer to the rewards for his criminal behavior. As far as I’m concerned, Donald Trump is nothing more than a self-entitled, overprivileged, conceited silver spoon baby.

One thing that always has struck me about Donald Trump is his arrogance. He also has an extremely warped sense of this own importance, not to mention the scope of his powers. Donald Trump seems to think that just because he is president of the United States, he has limitless powers and can do anything he wants. He acts as though he has never taken a civics lesson in this life. Maybe, he will start to get some idea of his limits when they impeach him.

Hopefully, we will all get a chance to see them being spanked for his bad behavior.
